Basic Elements of Facebook Profile Page

The above Screenshot gives you the image of the main Home Page of Facebook. As, soon as you enter your Login and Password you are redirected to the main Home Page of your profile.

• Clicking on HOME will direct you to your main home page
• Clicking on PROFILE will direct you to your profile page
• Clicking on FRIENDS will direct you to the page containing all your friend’s list
• Clicking on INBOX will direct you to the page containing your messages were you can check your messages received and compose too
• Clicking on your NAME would direct you to your profile page
• Clicking on SETTINGS would ask for three things Account, Privacy & Application’s settings, choose as per your choice
• If you click on LOGOUT option you will directed out of your account

• NEWSFEED shows the main news like what you and your friends have to share.
• STATUS UPDATES Is like a part of NEWSFEED where only the updates from you and your friends is shown.
• PAGES is another element where one can share a post from some website, blog or from anywhere they want.
• PHOTOS will show the updated Albums of your friends and your’s.
• LINKS will show the updates from your friends which contain some links to another site or blog.
• Clicking on MORE will show options

VIDEOS which contains updates from you and your friends containing Video content.

NOTES can be used to add or share something like a diary entry by you which you want to share.

And some other Options like Applications, Gifts etc.

• REQUESTS contains the invites from your friends to a group, invites to accept friend requests, Event invites.
• SUGGESTIONS are just like Requests that is Facebook provide Suggestions for joining friends or a group.
• SPONSORED NEWS is the news that is actually a featured Ad.
• HIGHLIGHTS are just like Suggestions it shows what people your friends have been doing on Facebook.
• EVENTS are used by people to let others know about an important Event that’s going to take place in near Future.
• CONNECT is used to connect to friends who hav’nt joined Facebook and you want them to join by sending a Request or by informing them through mails.
